My repertoire focuses are: Classical/ Romantic/ Impressionism
Instrumentation is preferably solo and duo (violin/ violoncello/ song accompaniment/ tuba).
I tend to be the soulful, inspired performer coupled with reliability and high stage presence. The music permeates me. It should be unique, always be experienced anew and touch each and everyone in the heart.
The timbres fascinate me and can be conveyed particularly well on a tuned grand piano. Upon request, I am happy to tell you something about the works or compositions.

About me
Susanne Maria Schwarz, born in Speyer (D), was a pupil of Rudolf Buchbinder at the Musikhochschule Basel. Further companions were Leonora Josiovitch, Jean-Jacques Dünki and Eugen Polus. She received additional artistic stimulation from Elisabeth Leonskaja, Dimitri Bashkirov, Peter Feuchtwanger and Andreas Staier, among others. She has performed in venues such as Kulturcasino Bern, Glinka Museum Moscow, Liederhalle Stuttgart, Tonhalle Zurich, Theater Casino Zug. She is an artist on the OehmsClassics label. The CD Evgenij Gunst – Wanderer zwischen den Welten, released under her maiden name Susanne Lang, was highly praised by radio and press and nominated for the German Record Critics’ Prize. Susanne Maria Schwarz serves as a jury member for various national and international competitions. She gives master classes/workshops in Switzerland and abroad, teaches at the Brugg Music School and has served on the board of EPTA Switzerland since 2018.
