About me

Growing up in Basel and Bern, I was already enthusiastic about playing the recorder, piano and flute as a child. During and after high school I enjoyed my basic flute training with Heidi Peter-Indermühle and studied flute with Beat Wenger in Bern. Master classes and studies with Peter-Lukas Graf, Verena Bosshardt, Pierre-André Bovet and Marianne Stucki followed. I attended further training in improvisation, music therapy and storytelling with Paolo Knill, Hans-Helmut Decker-Voigt, Günther Wehinger, Markus Stockhausen and Carol Mendelssohn, among others. I completed my concert diploma in flute (SMPV/SAMP) with Marianne Stucki in Winterthur.

I also studied art and expressive therapy at the European Graduate School (EGS) and achieved the “Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy & Education”. I dedicated my thesis work to the topic of “Intuitive Music Making”. I continued my studies at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB) with further education in music management and completed it with the VMS diploma in music school management.

My burning interest in mental training led me to the Sportmentalakademie Zürich. I obtained my diploma as a mental trainer for music, sport & health in 2020. Since then, I have accompanied children and young people in educational issues, in talent development, and adults from artistic, educational and social professions.

I teach a flute class at the Bantiger Music School and, as part of the school management, take on various interdisciplinary project management tasks.
