Offer

My repertoire is varied, ranging from music from the Renaissance to the modern age, solo or as a duo flute and guitar, 2 guitars, guitar sextet, etc., to solo guitar concerto with orchestra.
In the last few years I have also become increasingly involved with the romantic guitar and play original instruments from this period.
My strengths include sensitive and virtuoso playing, a beautiful tone and a love of music.

About me

Harald Stampa studied classical guitar at the Folkwang Academy of Music with Prof. Hans Gräf and at the Basel Music Academy with Oscar Ghiglia. For his studies in Basel, he was awarded the coveted DAAD one-year scholarship. After graduating with a soloist’s diploma, he took part in international guitar competitions and was successful with prizes in Italy and Bulgaria. In 1999 he was awarded the sponsorship prize of the Volksbank-Hochrhein-Stiftung, and in 2004 he was a prize-winner at the Frank Martin Festival in Zurich.
Harald Stampa’s passion belongs to the multifaceted richness and sound of the guitar, in classical and in Spanish and South American music, as a soloist, in chamber music and with orchestra. As a soloist he has performed with the Basel Symphony Orchestra and the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, among others.
So far 6 CDs have been released: works by Mauro Giuliani and Franz Schubert, “Danzas Argentinas”, solo and chamber music by Frank Martin, works by Giulio Regondi and Robert Schumann, works by Leonard Schulz (2020) and Guitarra a Seis (2022).
