About me
E-A S. was born in the French-speaking town of Fribourg. After a baccalaureate in music, she studied the harp at the Conservatoire de Fribourg and obtained a teaching diploma with “congratulations of the jury”. She obtained a Master of Arts as a soloist at the Haute école de musique de Genève, as well as diplomas in chamber music and contemporary music. At the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste she obtained the Master of Arts in Music Performance (orchestral diploma) in 2010 and the DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in Baroque Harp in 2013.
Since August 2014, Edmée-Angeline Sansonnens has been working as a music school director of the VSM (Swiss Association of Music Schools) at the BeLoSe music school (Bellach-Lommiswil-Selzach).
In May 2017, she received her Master in Music Management from the Bern University of the Arts.
She has been a multiple winner of the “Swiss Youth Music Competition” and has won the Migros Cultural Scholarship twice. She has also been awarded the “Pierre and Renée Glasson Fund”. She studied in Berlin with Maria Graf, and later in master classes with Isabelle Moretti, Xavier de Maistre, Irina Zingg, Ursula Holliger (†) and Germaine Lorenzini (†).
