Angelika Bauer

Guitar | Swiss part of Switzerland

Angelika Bauer is a member of the Trio Angeluci, whose repertoire includes Spanish and South American music, as well as classical and romantic pieces for two guitars. Together with a double bass, they have expanded their repertoire. The result is a well-harmonising trio with an original repertoire of groovy, virtuoso and also touching compositions from South America. The rhythmic and swinging bass blends wonderfully with the homogeneous sound of the two acoustic guitars. In addition to the pieces arranged for the trio itself, some arrangements come from the pens of the two Brazilian guitarists and composers Laurindo Almeida and Charlie Byrd. Music full of warmth and passion, performed with empathy and sovereign virtuosity.
